Chinaemelu C
My name is Chinaemelu C., the first daughter in a family of four girls from Agulu in Anambra State. Growing up was very difficult after my father abandoned the family because my mother did not have a male child. My mother had to take full responsibility for us, and life became even harder when we moved back to the village.
My life changed when I met Dr. Loveth, also known as “Big Mummy.” She was known for helping young girls who wanted to go to school but could not afford it. After hearing about my situation, she agreed to support my education on one condition—that I must stay focused and dedicated to my studies. She encouraged me to work hard and reminded me that I could succeed and help my siblings in the future.
With her support, I completed my primary education and gained admission into a higher institution. She took care of my school fees, books, and other needs throughout my academic journey.
I am deeply grateful for everything she has done for me. Her kindness and support changed my life, and I promise to make her proud.

“I have a Medical bill due to my leg ulcer that I have. I’ve been spending all my money on this. I’m diabetic. I have high blood pressure. My leg has been a problem for many years. I’ve been treating it locally going everywhere and my money finished and I reserved to local treatment, which gotten it worse until I got help from this beautiful woman call Dr. Love.
Lineage of Mercy helped has been supporting so many widows, so many of us that have no help, so many people that she gives money for feeding every month which I am included in apart from my medical bill, she sent me to a private doctor in a town that has a clinic. I go to the clinic three times a week. She provided the KK that come to the house to carry me to go to the clinic to clean my wounds and bring back. She paid the doctor. She buys my drugs, even to vitamins. Look at my leg is healing, is going. I can move around before I cannot. I sit one place with flies Pitching on my legs. no more flies. My leg is healing. thank you. after God you’re my God on earth”.

Empowerment Programm
Life was very difficult for us because, we did not have a stable source of income. we struggled every day to provide for myself and my children, and sometimes we could not even meet our basic needs. we had the desire to do business, but there was no capital or support to start.
Everything changes as we get in touch with Lineage of Mercy NGO empowerment programme. We were given the opportunity to learn and also received support to start a small business. With the little capital given, we started trading, and gradually the business began to grow.
Today, we can proudly say that we can to provide for our family. we no longer depend on others for survival. we can feed our children, support their education, and even save a little from my business.
This programme has not only helped me financially, but it has also given me confidence and hope. I now believe in myself and my ability to succeed.
I am truly grateful for this opportunity. This empowerment has changed my life, and I pray that God continues to bless those who are helping women to stand on their own.
